Childhood Hunger Research

Students identified four big questions about childhood hunger and researched the topic.  As students were collecting data, they classified each fact found into categories according to what question was being answered. Students will use this research to write persuasive and informative texts. Students used primary and secondary sources for their information.

The Big Four:
  • What is childhood hunger and why does it exist?
  • How big is the problem?
  • What is the effect of hunger on children?
  • How do we solve the problem of childhood hunger?

Thank you, Mrs. Flores for the Round Rock Serving Center for sharing your expertise!
