Capital Area Food Bank Visit

Thank you to Elizabeth Davies-- Development Coordinator and Felicia Pena – Community Events Coordinator from the Capital Area Food Bank for a very informative visit!  The virtual tour of the food bank and the information about Kid's Cafe and Summer Meals was very valuable.  It's still hard to believe you had 85 students captivated and still asking questions after an hour--- proof of the level of investment in stopping childhood hunger!

Elsa England third graders conducted an assembly today about our childhood hunger project. Students conducted the entire 20 minute presentation. The message was powerful. Kids can make a difference!
